CITRUS CANOPY MANAGEMENT. |

One day training on citrus canopy management was organized for the agriculture extension agents and 25 farmers of Gosaling geog of Tsirang Dzongkhag on 17/2/2010. The training consisted of theoretical lesson in the morning and practical session in the afternoon. The practical was carried out in the model orchard in Gosaling geog.
The training aimed to create awareness and also educate the agriculture extension agents and the farmers on the importance of citrus canopy management for improving fruit quality as well as increasing productivity.
The training was organized by the Horticulture Division of the Department of Agriculture, the Ministry of Agriculture, in collaboration with the Dzongkhag Agriculture Sector.
