School Reopened after 19 years. |

The much awaited ECR School in Nimazor finally got reopened on 12th March 2009 after it was closed down in 1990’s.
The school at present has one teacher and 42 students in class PP of which 22 are girls and the rest boys.
Gracing the opening of the school, Dasho Yanku Tshering addressed the students and the parents about the importance of education in today’s society and he also thanked the parents for their voluntarily contribution for construction of the school.
The Dzongkhag Education officer also informed the parents that the school will be upgraded till class III and told the parents that a new primary school will be constructed soon in the gewog.
The school was established in 1988 with class PP and it is the only school in the Gewog
