His Majesty the king had established Dzongkhag Yargay Tshogchhung in the year 1981 to promote people’s participation in the decision making. In pursuant to the profound vision and noble conceptions of the reforms of his Majesty the king aimed at strengthening decentralization and devolution ,the chathrim of DYT ,1995 is herewith revised to bring greater peace, happiness and prosperity in the kingdom.
The members of the Dzongkhag Yargay Tshogdue of Tsirang Dzongkhag:
.12 gups, 12 mangmis, 2 chimis and 1 bazar secretary. In total there are 27 members.
.the total number of dyt held in the Dzongkhag is 4 times ie after every three months.
