21st MARCH-2007: The annual tshechu for Tsirang
Dzongkhag starts from 26th march to 28th March 2007. Thongdrel will be observed on the last day of the tshechu i.e on 28th March, 2007.

Tsirang Dzongkhag has started distributing the new citizen id cards.The people from the Dzongkhag census team are distributing in the various gewogs,The people can come and collect their id cards according to the dates mentioned below at gewog office:

ANNUAL MOENLAM CHHENMO. |

The annual Moenlam Chhenmo presided by H.H. the Je khenpo along with 115 monks of Tsirang Dratshang will be conducting from 5th to 11th day of the 9th month of Bhutanese calendar corresponding to 23 to 29 October,2009.
All the devotees,anims and gomchhens are invited to participate in t6he Moenlam chhenmo at Moenlam Tshogkhang near the town temple.
